Fieldview is an artificial intelligence-based optical sensing system that enables industrial robots to perform high-precision grasping of new objects.
It is based on the innovative application of a class of neural networks designed to recognize the position and orientation of an object from an image and its 3D model.
The system is matched by a training station for new objects that automates the neural network training process.
The new object to be grasped by the robot is placed in the training station, which teaches the robot how to perform this new task within 24 h.
