SAN FRANCISCO, September 7, 2026. Cognivix has been selected for the AltaLab Fall 2026 cohort, the startup program of AltaIR Capital.
For an early-stage company, selection by an established venture fund is an external validation of the company, the team and the market opportunity. It also comes at a useful time for Cognivix: we are moving from proving that industrial manipulation can be taught from a single demonstration to proving that it can scale across production lines.
Our benchmark stays the same. Automating a new part today takes about five engineer-days of programming. With AiKit it takes five minutes: one human demonstration, and the robot compiles the task.
Over the coming months the team will work with AltaLab and AltaIR Capital as we continue commercial deployments and prepare for our next institutional financing round.
